‘Gung-ho !' in its true spirit of the word is an absolute challenge – adventure programme to defend the ultimate skills of management and a tough test on target accomplishment for an ambitious team committed to go beyond all conceivable limits of working under most daring but safe conditions. A programme identified for the senior/ middle management team as a mind-setting prelude to taking-up a challenging project. The participants will be required to execute a Formidable Challenge during which process the following learning will be experienced. The nature of the Challenge could be determined. The duration will be ideally 2 – 3 days on residential basis.

| Leadership Boot Camp: for Senior Middle Managers |

Leadership Boot Camp is an in-depth extensive development intervention for Senior and Middle Managers to acquire comprehensive application skills for leading their teams. The multi-day boot camp is designed under four themes of leadership: Transformational, Behavioural, Managerial and Strategic aspects of leadership. Ideally this is presented as a week-long residential workshop. However it can be restructured to a shorter duration to suit specific training needs of the client.
Theme 1: Transformational Leadership
a) Core Competencies of a Leader
What makes a Leader? What resources and strengths do leaders need to thrive amidst chaos and turbulent change? How can they inspire teams, win customers and drive organisational performance?
b) Dimensions of Leadership: Styles, Options and Alternatives .
The distinct approaches to leadership and how tactfully the styles should be switched to suit different situations.
c)Emotional Intelligence and Leadership
Why the leaders need to be aware of their own feelings and that of others in making relationships that bind together and drive performance.
d)Mastery of Self in the making of Leadership
The critical importance of knowing one's inner resources, abilities, limitations and emotions and their relevance to managing people and organisations.

How could the leader transform the beliefs, values and attitudes of his/her team to infuse inspiration and foster performance?
f) Group Dynamics and Teamwork
Insights into making of informal and formal groups at work and how the leader should handle diversity and negativity.
g) Performance & Motivation
What makes people work with will and how critical it is for the leader to understand the intricacies of human behaviour. Exposure to the inferences of different models and theories of motivation and their relevance to contemporary organisations.

i) Planning, Prioritising & Delegation
Planning, Prioritising and Delegation are essential prerequisites for effective leadership. Also the relevance of being ‘Effective Vs Efficient' and ‘Proactive Vs Reactive' in getting things done.
j) The Challenge of Change
Change entails challenges, resistance, obstacles and impediments. A systematic approach to change, creating and managing change to yield win-win solutions.
k) Decision Making and Problem Solving
Tools and techniques for an orderly approach to decision-making and problem solving to facilitate organisational performance at all levels.

o) Breakthrough Thinking
How and Why the Leaders should think differently, perceive exceptionally and analyse critically. Breakthrough thinking is the strength to master at times of challenge; to be distinctly different to others.
