1. Supervisors' Role in Enhancing Efficiency & Reducing Cost: A two day programme designed to (1) Focus on the importance of cost & efficiency (2) Illustrate the drivers of efficiency & inefficiency (3) Reiterate the need for enhancing Needle-Down-Time as a fundamental strategy for enhancing efficiency (4) Develop strategies to reduce indirect staff (5) Enhancing operator performance and specific actions to develop / eliminate sub-performers (6) Correlate quality issues to production (7) Establish systematic approach to skills development.
2. Supervisors' Role in Minimising Absenteeism & Labour Turnover: One day workshop to (1) Illustrate the severe impact of absenteeism and labour turnover on productivity (2) Understand the causes for absenteeism & turnover (3) Recognise the drivers of employee satisfaction and survey methods to ascertain satisfaction levels (4) Create a purpose of working in the minds of the workers (5) Inculcate a positive mind-set (6) Recognise the emotional and attitudinal issues relating to management of workers.

3. Improve Quality: Insights for Supervisors: One day workshop designed to enable Supervisors to (1) Realise that quality is a fundamental prerequisite for survival (2) Facilitate supervisors to identify quality defects early and enable root cause corrective action (3) Focus on quality assurance as a long-term investment (4) Help the company to gradually move away from a culture of checking and inspection (5) Relate quality to customer needs and importance of customer satisfaction (6) Develop individual quality responsibilities and their roles in quality improvement (7) Familiarise with different quality assurance and control practices.

4. Work Study for Supervisors: A two day instructional workshop to develop strong appreciation on the importance of Work-Study and how it can assist production. Programme contains, (1) Principles of Methods Development, Work Measurement (Time Study), Motion Economies and Work Place Arrangements (2) Process of carrying out a Time Study exercise, determination of Cycles and Rating of machine operators. (3) Determination of operator and line efficiency levels, SMV and target calculations, allocation of workers and machines using SMVs (Standard Minute Values) (4) Line Balancing, Skill Inventorising, Skill Development Planning & Multi Skilling.
5. Leadership, Motivation & Teamwork for Supervisory Staff: Two day programme enabling Supervisory staff to understand in simple and practical terms; (1) the essentials of leadership together with an array of styles (2) Art of communicating and motivating sub-ordinates (3) Relationships development (4) Process of creating a positive mindset and self esteem (5) Development of a sense of interdependence and insights into building strong teams as applicable to the high pressure environment in an apparel factory.
6. Changing Workers' Attitudes, for Supervisors: One day programme to (1) Enable supervisors to recognise the critical importance of attitudes and its impact on productivity, quality, cost and innovation (2) Facilitate supervisors to diagnose attitudinal issues and develop remedial action (3) Focus on inspiring and motivating ‘hopeless' individuals (4) Emphasise on the fundamental need for self esteem and its relevance to success (5) Illustrate the relevance of esteemed individuals to success of an institution and society.
